Savvion Savvy On iWay: Reselling Entire iWay Adapter Line

01/13/2004

iWay Software, an Information Builders company and “the world's leading adapter vendor,” has reached an agreement with Savvion, Inc., which dubs itself “the company that knows business process,” that will allow Savvion to resell iWay's entire line of over 250 intelligent adapters.

Savvion has integrated iWay Software's adapter technology with BusinessManager, its business process management (BPM) platform, “to deliver comprehensive business technology solutions to Savvion's Global 2000 customers,” the two vendors say.

They add, “Savvion's solutions enable companies to optimize operations by automating and managing consistent, repeatable business processes. This is accomplished by establishing an enterprise process architecture, which is a critical step in achieving true process improvement and management. Savvion's systems give managers unique, real-time visibility into their ongoing business operations, not just with metrics and reports, by providing a framework that empowers companies to be innovative while managing change.

“The partnership with iWay Software will enable Savvion to further simplify the creation of composite business process solutions by providing iWay's library of 250-plus adapters as part of Savvion's BPM. The result will strengthen Savvion's already robust integration capabilities by further reducing the time and effort required to integrate popular enterprise systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, and Siebel, as well as legacy mainframe systems and databases, into composite processes.”

"Delivering on the promise of composite process automation and management across an enterprise requires leveraging existing ERP, CRM, and mainframe application infrastructure," explained Dr. M.A. Ketabchi, Savvion's founder and CTO. "By integrating iWay's highly regarded adapter technology, we are able to provide our customers with additional time and cost savings as we more quickly integrate complete composite process solutions."

"iWay and Savvion are committed to increasing developer productivity and speeding the time required to deliver high-value integrated solutions," said John Senor, president of iWay Software. "The combination of iWay adapters and Savvion BusinessManager will provide the critical framework customers require to utilize their business process solutions more efficiently."
