TippingPoint Technologies, Inc., specializing in high-speed intrusion prevention, reports that its UnityOne Intrusion Prevention Systems and Appliances won the 'Show-Stopper' award from University Business magazine.

The second annual Show-Stopper award-winners were selected from approximately 200 technology vendors exhibiting at the Educause conference in Anaheim, Calif., and announced in the December issue of University Business. The winners were chosen by an undercover panel of judges of senior IT executives, who were recruited from the publication's readers attending Educause on November 3-7.

University Business Editor Tim Goral said, "Our undercover judges roam the conference floor looking for outstanding products that have a significant business impact on the organization. They recognized TippingPoint's contribution in the areas of enhanced security, peer-to-peer piracy prevention, traffic management and bandwidth optimization."
