09/29/2003

TIBCO Software, which dubs itself an “enabler of real-time business and the world’s largest independent business integration software company,” has unveiled the Quick-Start Program for BusinessWorks. TIBCO says the Quick-Start Program “includes software and the professional services needed to deploy integration solutions for small to mid-size companies and departments and will help get them started on the path to the predictive enterprise.”

“TIBCO’s extensive experience in integration combined with the standards based architecture of BusinessWorks make this an ideal program for companies to begin the process of integration,” said Chris Larsen, executive vice president, global sales, TIBCO Software Inc. “By establishing a messaging-based integration infrastructure, companies can take a major step towards becoming real-time businesses.”

TIBCO asserts that, “The Quick-Start Program provides a solid integration infrastructure foundation for companies working toward creating a real-time business. The Quick-Start Program’s price minimizes the risk of an integration project exceeding a company’s budget, and is available to all new and existing TIBCO customers for new department-level solutions. The program, which helps ensure quick ramp-up of product skills, the most effective integration infrastructure architecture and design, and accelerated delivery of a solution that results in significant tangible business and IT value, includes one copy of TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.0, two adapters of choice, and 240 hours of Professional Services Group consulting.”

The TIBCO Quick-Start Program is available immediately from TIBCO or certified partners. Prices start at $200,000.
