InfoSTEP In Step With Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance

InfoSTEP, Inc. is shipping eLustroHarmony and eLustroCSA solutions, built on Sun Microsystems’ Java and Sun ONE platforms, to help companies with Sarbanes Oxley Act compliance requirements. InfoSTEP says these offerings “empower CEOs, CFOs, Corporate Controllers and process owners with tools to monitor internal controls and manage business risks within acceptable tolerance levels.”

The company says, “eLustroHarmony and eLustroCSA provide an open framework-based approach to implementing the stringent compliance requirements imposed by SEC. The framework is built on COSO guidelines and leverages a strong technology backbone provided by the Sun ONE platform, including Sun's Java technology and the Sun ONE Web Server, Application Server and Directory Server. By utilizing Sun's network identity solutions, based on key industry security standards, and by developing on the Sun ONE and Java platform, InfoSTEP’s solution can meet the stringent needs of customers with an open and trusted infrastructure solution from Sun, “Using InfoSTEP’s solutions, organizations can model their strategic objectives, associated risks, and internal controls, and monitor the enterprise-wide control programs within a secured portal interface. Specific functionality of the solution includes Program Management, Risk & Control Catalog Management, Control Assessments, Issue Tracking, Monitoring and Reporting and Executive Dashboard.”
