Lyzasoft Integrates Low-cost Predictive Analytics into its Data Analytics and Collaboration Platform

Lyzasoft and Predixion Software partner to deliver industry’s first cloud-to-cloud analytic services experience

Lyzasoft announced today that it has integrated its Lyza Commons analytical collaboration solution with Predixion Software’s predictive analytics solution.

ebizQ received the following:

Predixion’s self-service predictive analytics features are available as integral options within the Lyza Commons user experience, so users don’t have to juggle multiple web applications or export data from the collaboration environment to access more advanced analytics. The announcement was made today at the Gartner Symposium/IT Expo 2010 currently taking place in Orlando, Florida. Lyzasoft is demonstrating its software suite in booth G.

Lyzasoft has incorporated four of Predixion’s predictive analytics web services: Shopping Basket Analysis, Forecast, Detect Categories and Analyze Key Influencers.

“Lyzasoft continues to set the standard for collaborative business intelligence,” said Shawn Rogers, Vice President of Research, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, Enterprise Management Associates. “This integration with Predixion Insight leverages powerful cloud-based technologies, an innovative collaboration platform and a disruptive pricing model that allows it to be easily adopted with far less risk. This partnership provides Lyzasoft customers affordable predictive analytics functionality and a seamless method for integrating data in the cloud so it can be fully leveraged.”

“Lyzasoft customers now have access to Predixion’s affordable, easy-to-use predictive analytics services natively within the Lyza experience,” said Scott Davis, Lyzasoft CEO. “This blending of partner SaaS offerings into an integrated web experience demonstrates the power of the cloud to allow users to bring applications of choice to data of choice in an experience that fits them and their budgets.”

“We are pleased to be partnering with Lyzasoft, a visionary in the areas of BI and collaboration technologies,” said Predixion CEO Simon Arkell. “This partnership is mutually beneficial as both companies are seeking to break down the cost, complexity and interoperability barriers typically associated with BI and analytics today.”
