eBridge Connections Releases First Component of Integration As A Service Platform

10/07/2010

eBridge Connections, formerly eBridge Software, launches a new version of their integration platform which allows integration support to over 40 accounting/ERP packages including: Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Intuit Quickbooks and more.

ebizQ received the following:

eBridge Connections makes a critical step towards providing best in class integration as a service solutions to the small and medium business marketplace.

The update brings change in both appearance and usability, and aims to enhance the overall user experience. The majority of updates were driven by user feedback and largely focused on consolidating information within the current platform. Clients will now have a wealth of information and tools available to them in one comprehensive view.

“We worked with some of our most active users to improve the way they interact with the platform. While the core functionality is largely unchanged; beta testers indicated that their experience felt much more intuitive” said Mark Gladwish, Product Manager at eBridge. “We have also taken important steps towards the mobility of the platform, which will allow tighter integration into our customers’ websites.”

The release of the new version will be soon followed by an updated API or WSDL (Web Services Description Language) for eBridge Connections. This will open up a world of opportunity by allowing businesses to develop their own applications that interact with the eBridge Connections integration platform.

“The latest version of eBridge Connections is much more than just a product update for eBridge. It is a prime example of just how much we value and listen to our customers. Incorporating user feedback into the design and testing of the new interface was crucial to its success” according to CEO Colin Brown. “It also indicates our plans for the future. We are working towards moving every piece of the platform into the cloud, and this is an important milestone towards that goal.”

Today, the www.ebridgeconnections.com has handled almost 6,000,000 transactions, most recently achieving a threshold of over 100,000 in one week.

Quick Guide: What is Enterprise 2.0?

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform. Still others say that Enterprise 2.0 is all of these things. Learn More
