Point-and-Click Wizard Enables Easy Data Integration between salesforce.com and on-premise and cloud applications

Jitterbit, the leading provider of powerful, flexible and easy-to-use application and data integration software, today announced Jitterbit Connect for Salesforce.

ebizQ received the following:

Jitterbit Connect is a wizard-based integration tool built in to Jitterbit Enterprise Edition that allows non-technical users to connect salesforce.com with other enterprise applications in a matter of minutes.

“Salesforce gives organizations the ability to track sales opportunities and customer service calls, but easily sharing this data between Salesforce and other enterprise applications is a challenge,” said Mark Smith, CEO and EVP of research for Ventana Research. “To leverage the investment in renting applications from Salesforce, data should be seamlessly available to other applications and Jitterbit Enterprise’s wizard-based, no-coding approach not only makes this possible, but makes it simple for businesses to be efficient in their operations.”

Jitterbit Connect for Salesforce is immediately available in the latest version of the company’s commercial software, Jitterbit Enterprise Edition. Designed for a non-technical audience, the wizard allows salesforce.com administrators and users to connect their CRM data with other on-premise and cloud systems. Jitterbit Connect for Salesforce supports bi-directional data integration through the Salesforce Web Services API, including both queries and upserts. The new user interface provides point-and-click configuration, giving users the ability to connect, transform, and transport data to and from salesforce.com without coding.

“At Jitterbit, our mission is to simplify complex integrations and allow the technical business analyst to complete these projects on their own,” said Sharam Sasson, CEO of Jitterbit. “Jitterbit Connect for Salesforce takes the headache out of salesforce.com integration and gives users a quick and effective path for connecting their customer data with other enterprise systems.”

Jitterbit Connect for Salesforce

Jitterbit Connect simplifies salesforce.com integration with a number of industry-leading technology advancements. New features include:

Query Builder: The drag-and-drop SOQL (Salesforce.com Object Query Language) builder allows users to create complex Web Services queries with the click of a mouse.

Instant Filter: Quickly search for Salesforce data fields with Instant Filter. As the user types, Jitterbit immediately updates the list of available fields, significantly reducing the time required to create a query. In addition, the wizard uses Smart Prediction to help identify desired fields

AutoMapper: Jitterbit Connect can intelligently recommend and automatically map data between similar field types in disparate systems. AutoMapper eliminates manual mapping, saving time and reducing errors.

Project Creator: The wizard will automatically build and create Salesforce integration operations based on the users’ configuration, including sources, targets, transformations, and more.

Pricing and Availability

Jitterbit ConnectTM for Salesforce is immediately available and integrated into Jitterbit Enterprise Edition. Customers will automatically receive the free upgrade. Access a free 30 day trial of Jitterbit Enterprise at www.jitterbit.com/download or visit www.jitterbit.com/salesforce to learn more.

Quick Guide: What is Enterprise 2.0?

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology. However, there's still some debate on exactly what this technology entails, how it applies to today's business models, and which components bring true value. Some use the term Enterprise 2.0 exclusively to describe the use of social networking technologies in the enterprise, while others use it to describe a web economy platform, or the technological framework behind such a platform. Still others say that Enterprise 2.0 is all of these things. Learn More
