Data Management and Integration

Data Store Integration
Data Administrators can now register their enterprise Data Stores with Appian and create simple object-oriented views for users to query and update data from their process application. Appian also adds an additional security layer to ensure tight controls over querying enterprise data.
Business Designer Empowerment
Without knowledge of SQL or other complex coding languages, non-technical process designers and end-users can now create process applications that query and update enterprise data sources from the simple drag-and-drop Appian Process Modeler and Forms Designer.
Master Data Management
Appian now makes it simple for designers to create processes that merge and consolidate multiple enterprise data sources to ensure data governance and quality or create process applications with expansive views of data across the enterprise.
Data Definition Portability
Appian now makes enterprise data definitions a re-usable SOA component and part of the Appian Application Package profile, easing re-use and portability of process applications between disparate RDBMS platforms, on-premise and in cloud environments, or in the Appian Forum community.
