Healthcare claim reporting to be streamlined with custom analytic dashboards

InetSoft Technology , an innovator in dashboard, reporting and mashup solutions, announced that NCN has selected InetSoft’s Style Intelligence in order to search for additional savings opportunities and provide automated reports to clients externally.

ebizQ received the following:

NCN is the national leader in cost management for out-of-network claims and network enhancement and uses cost-based data and transparent reporting to maximize savings on healthcare claims.

Tadd Meyers, Business Intelligence Manager at NCN, named the ease of use, drag-and-drop interface, automated reporting, and superior dashboards as deciding factors in NCN’s selection of Style Intelligence. “What I liked the most was the drag-and-drop feature for putting together a data query…with other solutions you have no choice but to sit and write code…but with Style Intelligence, it doesn’t take two to three hours to design reports – you only need ten to fifteen minutes,” said Meyers.

Mr. Meyers was also impressed by the array of custom dashboard features. “The more I get into it, the more capabilities I discover that allow me to organize data in ways that make the most sense to me, and excitingly, our users will be able to benefit from these same features. Additionally, Style Intelligence offers truly superior dashboard graphics. Thus, we’ll be able to provide our customers with the ability to create highly polished, professional reports.”

Mark Flaherty, VP of Marketing at InetSoft was quick to point out that NCN’s intended use of the Style Intelligence platform perfectly illustrated the ‘easy, agile, robust’ tagline the company had adopted several years ago. “It’s not uncommon for us to hear the question, ‘What exactly do you mean by easy, agile, robust?’ First, it’s easy because it has been designed for quick drag-and-drop development. Next, it’s agile because you have the ability to create multi-source data mashups. Finally, it’s robust because it offers a rich blend of customization, professional authoring, and automated reporting capabilities. It’s a complete BI platform, and any size organization should take advantage of our free evaluation to see for themselves.”

Style Intelligence is a full-featured business intelligence solution that is 100% Java at the server level and HTML, JavaScript, and Flash at the client level, which combined with its SOA architecture and open standards-based technology, makes for an ideal embedding and integration-ready application for dashboards and visualization. End-users get visually compelling, highly interactive access to data, and solution providers get a highly customizable, quick to learn and quick to deploy business intelligence toolset and information delivery platform.
