SugarCRM and SnapLogic Form Strategic Alliance

Open Source CRM Leader Partners with Visionary Integration Company to Bring Customers The Best of Both Worlds: A Tightly Integrated Application Suite that Preserves Choice

SugarCRM, the world’s leading provider of open source customer relationship management (CRM) software, and SnapLogic, the DataFlow company, announced today that they have entered into a strategic alliance. Under the arrangement, the companies will partner to deliver to SugarCRM customers the business benefits of a tightly integrated business software suite while giving them the choice to use whatever applications best meet their needs.

ebizQ received the following:

SnapLogic’s DataFlow technology tightly integrates SugarCRM with popular financial packages, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Intacct, providing customers with a complete “quote-to-bill” software environment. Dozens of other applications, such as e-commerce systems, mass email, and social networks, can also be integrated via connectors or “Snaps” from SnapLogic’s newly live SnapStore.

The partners have committed to share development resources to deliver product integration support between their solutions. Finally, SugarCRM will use the SnapLogic DataFlow Server and Snaps for data migration tasks associated with SugarCRM installations.

“SnapLogic’s compelling Web architecture and breakthrough SnapStore business model is transforming the integration market,” said Larry Augustin, chief executive officer, SugarCRM. “We’re delighted to bring SugarCRM customers the benefit of tight integration with all their business applications by working closely with SnapLogic and the SnapStore.”

“Enterprises are increasingly finding that their CRM systems are at the heart of their software infrastructures. Our strategic alliance enables customers to rapidly and easily integrate SugarCRM with other best-of-breed applications, delivering the benefits of packaged software suites while preserving customer choice,” said Gaurav Dhillon, chief executive officer, SnapLogic. “The combination of SugarCRM, the SnapLogic DataFlow Server, and Snap connectors and pipelines provides tremendous value for companies everywhere that want to acquire, keep, and nurture customers.”

SnapLogic is a Platinum sponsor of SugarCon 2010 and is exhibiting at booth #100.

Quick Guide: What is Enterprise 2.0?

A lot of people are talking about Enterprise 2.0 as being the business application of Web 2.0 technology.
