Ovum Places Metastorm in BPM Software Shortlist

Industry analyst firm Ovum recognizes Metastorm as elite BPM vendor in its “Decision Matrix: Selecting a Business Process Management Vendor” report



Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that industry analyst firm Ovum placed Metastorm in the elite “shortlist” category in its recent report “Decision Matrix: Selecting a Business Process Management Vendor (Competitor Focus).”

Metastorm is placed in the elite “shortlist” category, which not only distinguishes its integrated software suite as “best of breed,” but also designates Metastorm as a vendor that should always be on the shortlist for any enterprise evaluating BPM solutions. According to the report, Metastorm is at “the very summit of the BPM competitive landscape.”

In the report Metastorm receives accolades for combining “excellence in core technologies with a clear articulated approach to BPM.” The report also states that a strong indication of Metastorm’s success is its outstanding user satisfaction rating, noting that “Metastorm has achieved the highest overall end-user assessment score.”

The report also identifies several key differentiators for Metastorm, including its:
