A Unified Approach to BPM and SOA

An open, integrated infrastructure is critical for ensuring the quick and cost-effective delivery and modification of applications and services that address new and changing customer requirements. As part of the second phase of the implementation this year, Discovery will investigate the standardization of existing operational systems on a SOA platform using TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks. This will help to forge a strategy of componentization and establish greater flexibility across departmental business areas.

Discovery is also concurrently running a pilot project using TIBCO iProcess Suite to BPM-enable its SOA platform, and increase automation and process improvement for greater productivity and collaboration.
