Lombardi, a business process management (BPM) software, announced that its customer Homeloan Management Ltd. has won the Silver Award for Europe in the 2009 Global Awards for Excellence in Business Process Management (BPM) and Workflow.

"The Credit Management Project has been a tremendous success for HML and our clients. The project has significantly improved the efficiency of the process and also added a much greater level of control," said Andrew Jones, Chief Information Officer at HML. "We are proud to achieve such high-profile recognition for the company with this Silver excellence award."
Now in their 16th year, the annual Global Excellence Awards in BPM and Workflow awards are used to recognize user organizations such as HML that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives.
Particular attention is paid to implementations that support processes extending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners etc. There are five geographical regions. Each region receives a Gold and Silver Award. The awards are jointly sponsored by BPMFocus.org and Workflow Management Coalition with support from industry associations Object Management Group (OMG) and BPM.com.
The Silver Award was announced and presented to HML in a special webinar on Tuesday 24 November, 2009. The webinar was chaired by Derek Miers, lead judge for the awards.
