Pivotlink and Primitive Logic Improve Workforce Effectiveness With On-Demand Analytics

10/19/2009

PivotLink, the provider of business intelligence solutions delivered via Software as a Service (SaaS), and Primitive Logic today announced a partnership to integrate Primitive Logic’s best practices HCM dashboards and business process workflow templates with PivotLink’s secure, collaborative reports and dashboards. The solution enables customers to optimize performance by aligning resources with business goals, analyzing staffing trends and measuring workforce utilization.

ebizQ received the following:

Under the partnership, Primitive Logic will offer PivotLink’s Workforce Analysis and Reporting Solution within its Human Capital Management practice. The companies will demonstrate the solution at this week’s WorkDay Rising conference in San Francisco.

The joint solution eliminates a major burden and cost for resource-constrained IT departments that support HCM initiatives in heterogeneous environments. It allows human resources (HR) managers and business analysts to combine data from multiple internal applications, such as HCM, payroll, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and benefits systems, with external sources, such as salary, insurance and industry benchmarking data. Users gain a simple and reliable way of analyzing metrics used by world-class finance organizations, including healthcare costs by employee, department or region; span of control; attrition and retention rates; employee performance and satisfaction; and training competency rates for regulatory compliance.

“HR plays an important role influencing operational excellence, and easy-to-use analytic tools can further extend HR’s strategic value by driving greater accountability, cost savings and transparency of initiatives ranging from reducing healthcare costs to regulatory compliance,” said Lorna Bender, vice president of channels and alliances at PivotLink. “This partnership allows thousands of users to extend the value of PivotLink’s market-leading business analytics solutions with Primitive Logic’s extensive HCM domain expertise. It’s a great example of the best-of-breed solutions that partners can build on our platform, offering their clients an alternative to on-premise solutions at a much lower cost and a fraction of the time to deploy.”

“The partnership with PivotLink offers customers an unparalleled solution for analyzing their rapidly growing volume of HR data and business processes,” said Susan Lokker, HCM practice leader at Primitive Logic. “On-demand HCM analytics extends the value of their existing IT investments, while significantly reducing the implementation and operational costs.”
