Jaspersoft, provider of business intelligence (BI) software, today announced that Orange Leap, the company that delivers innovation and efficiency through technology to the nonprofit community, has chosen Jaspersoft to replace Crystal Reports for its web-based, custom reporting product, The Guru.

By using Jaspersoft’s open source BI suite, Orange Leap was able to develop a sophisticated yet easy-to-use report building wizard to simplify the analysis process while reducing customer training costs. Before The Guru was introduced, the nonprofit community was limited to paying large sums of money for custom development. Today, The Guru gives anyone the ability to create sophisticated custom reports through a web interface in five simple steps.
