RWD Releases RWD uBenchmark 2.10

05/26/2009

RWD Technologies, LLC (RWD), a global company that develops and implements human and organizational performance solutions, announced today the availability of RWD uBenchmark 2.10, a performance monitoring and management application that aggregates end user interactions with business applications.

ebizQ received the following:

Using comprehensive reporting dashboards, RWD uBenchmark assists IT and corporate management in analyzing and troubleshooting end-user issues. This provides businesses the power of information, enabling them to make decisions which result in optimizing system performance and maximizing investment dollars and resources.

According to a survey of 1,500 CIOs conducted by Gartner, due to the flattening of IT budgets CIOs are more focused on harvesting current technologies rather than investing in new technologies. IT projects are being prioritized by how well they reduce cost and improve business processes.[1] The RWD uBenchmark solution will allow customers to proactively problem solve, build best practices and troubleshoot system inefficiencies across multiple locations and through one simple process.

“Analytical tools such as RWD uBenchmark are critical in an economic climate that demands operational excellence,” said Laurens “Mac” MacLure, president and chief executive officer at RWD Technologies. “In an effort to maximize current investments, RWD uBenchmark enables our customers to measure and evaluate employees’ performance, develop best practices and create optimized system performance. With the ability to identify issues before they compound, we can help maximize return on investment and create an efficient business environment.”

RWD uBenchmark improves performance by securely collecting data from an employee’s desktop or laptop relevant to their interaction with specific business applications, such as SAP, Microsoft Office and legacy applications. Once collected, the reporting functionality of RWD uBenchmark can be used to analyze data to determine business process compliance, performance efficiency, training needs and more. RWD uBenchmark includes the capability for data capturing and language translation in Japanese, French and German. The solution also provides capabilities to obscure sensitive user data to allow an organization obtain user focused performance metrics without exposing demographic data.

"Some critics might say that CIO technology priorities could be more ambitious, but considering that CIOs have modest resources requiring close management, it's clear why they are looking to derive more value from what they have before making significant purchases," said Mark McDonald, vice president, Gartner.
