DataMotion Teams With Pervasive Software to Enhance Platform Interoperability

05/22/2009

DataMotion, Inc., a provider of cloud-enabled governance services for data integration and collaboration, today announced a technology agreement with Pervasive Software (NASDAQ: PVSW), a global leader in agile data integration software, that will enable dataflow among disparate or legacy enterprise applications or platforms. The technical integration between DataMotion and Pervasive Software will allow DataMotion to expand the breadth of enterprise applications, protocols, and backend systems available for integration in the cloud.

ebizQ received the following:

“With Pervasive handling back-end data collection, and DataMotion providing security, management and reporting to the information transfer, we are better suited to meet our customers’ governance requirements,” said Bob Janacek, Chief Technology Officer of DataMotion. “This partnership enables us to reduce deployment time, lower up-front costs, and provide seamless, flexible integration from multiple sources to our customers.”

DataMotion solutions are built using the company’s Intelligent Information Transfer (IIT) platform that leverages existing applications and common interfaces such as email, web browsers, and forms. DataMotion services enable the transfer of large files between systems regardless of the amount of information exchanged, or whether the data exchange is internal or across the Internet.

“With Pervasive’s broad range of connectivity, DataMotion will be able to more readily meet customer requirements while remaining focused on their core competency,” said Mike Hoskins, Pervasive CTO and General Manager, Integration Products at Pervasive Software. “The need for visibility into business processes continues to increase, and this partnership will allow DataMotion to offer out-of-the-box interoperability with a wide variety of business applications. The result is an end to end solution for their customers, helping DataMotion to expand addressable markets and enhance their competitive edge.”

The Pervasive integration extends the ability of DataMotion’s IIT platform, to enable customers and partners to build highly customizable and interoperable solutions. DataMotion’s flexible offering is ideal for companies looking to embrace cloud-enabled application infrastructure.

In separate announcements, DataMotion today unveiled enhancements to its Intelligent Information Transfer (IIT) platform and its virtual production environment sandbox.
