National Institutes of Health Taps Citizant for SOA Development

Citizant, a provider of government professional technical solutions, has been awarded a blanket purchase agreement by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for information sharing and collaboration services.
As part of the agreement, NIH will access a complete catalog of services needed to facilitate greater knowledge sharing, expedite the translation of research results into knowledge, make high-quality information publicly available, and improve mission effectiveness. These services include Program Management, Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Information Assurance, Data Quality Services, and Portal Development.
Citizant currently also supports the Enterprise Architecture program for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), providing program management, segment architecture development, and business process modeling (BPM) aligned with IT investment management. Citizant has also worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to determine the specific data that is required when authorization is granted to importers wishing to import etiological agents into the U.S.
Citizant also provides information sharing and Web 2.0 collaboration services to the Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Interior, and Transportation, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Navy, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
