  • Netezza Corporation (NYSE Arca: NZ) and Kalido today announced a strategic partnership to deliver high-performance data warehouse solutions in an automated and flexible BI architecture with a low total cost of ownership (TCO). Large enterprises now have access to the market-leading performance of Netezza coupled with Kalido’s flexible, fully governed data warehouse software. Under the terms of the partnership, Kalido will release a version of its award-winning Kalido® Information Engine™ that will be certified to run on Netezza appliances.

  • As part of the partnership, Netezza and Kalido will collaborate to develop industry-specific solutions to meet key business requirements across a number of industries, including life sciences, financial services and consumer packaged goods. These solutions will be based on the best practices of both companies and delivered with pre-built models, load processes and dashboards.

  • The Kalido Information Engine is the industry’s most advanced and comprehensive platform for design, development and operation of well-governed data warehouses. Kalido’s Business Information Modeler provides collaboration between IT and business users to deliver up to the minute business requirements and ensure end-to-end consistency of data definitions.
