Macronetic BPM Software Bundled into JNetDirect BI Software

10/22/2008

Macronetics has an interesting approach to automating workflow based on context searching. They also appear to be implementing a good partnering strategy with JNetDirect a recent addition to partnerships with different prime government contractors and other industry-specific software and service suppliers. This is also a trend similar to the Metastorm/Align announcement of October 19.

ebizQ received the following:

JNetDirect and Macronetics today announced a partnership for providing Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, workflow software products, and professional services. This partnership will offer JNet's customers a BPM solution that is also able to integrate with JNetDirect's Business Intelligence (BI) application. Automate BPM is a new generation of workflow software from Macronetics that helps companies streamline their operations by turning paper-based processes into actionable format. Together with JNetDirect's best practices and BI capabilities and the Macronetic Automate BPM solution, the companies will provide IT managers a complete solution while substantially reducing the cost of implementation.

"I look forward to working with JNetDirect to unlock tremendous value from our customers' data," said Dr. Vinh Nguyen, CEO at Macronetics. "The combined BI/BPM solution will enable our customers to not only extract important business insight from their enterprise information systems but also move quickly to capitalize on critical business intelligence."

Automate BPM is built on a patent-pending state engine that tracks the status of important business objectives and dynamically generates the requisite alerts and tasks to complete those objectives. "Organizations are constantly looking for ways to improve their business processes. With Automate BPM, organizations will be able to deliver powerful solutions quickly and inexpensively," said Scott Raspa, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at JNetDirect. "Automate BPM compliments our other software applications and we are excited to add this outstanding BPM solution to our product portfolio for JNetDirect's customers."
