Open Text Acquisitions Bring New ECM Functionality

TAKEAWAY: Open Text has recently announced two acquisitions that should strengthen its position in the enterprise content management space. In first of Spicer Corporation, the company acquired new file format viewing capabilities and integrate BPM systems as well as reprographics. In yesterday's acquisition of the media management division of Corbis, Open Text acquired new digital media capabilities to enhance its Enterprise 2.0 capabilities.
