Takeaway: As CICS is not the only mainframe transaction processing environment in use today, it is a good thing this solution serves IMS as well as CICS. Also, it's about time vendors started adding functionality to their SOA platforms. The only caveat, Layer7's inexperience with mainframes, is resolved by including GT Software in the mix.
