On Salesforce.com and Google
Takeaway: Ismael Ghalimi reviews Salesforce for Google Apps, the new offering from Salesforce.com and Google that combines Google Apps with Salesforce.com's CRM suite in a cloud computing format. Ghalimi points out that the solution is a collection of lightweight mashups, with the most important component being the integration with Google Docs. He points out some limitations, however, in needing to enter the document name and URL when linking to an existing document -- and lack of compatibility with EchoSign and lack of support for document merge.
