Almost every company has operational activities that run continuously and must respond to rapidly changing conditions - prime targets for event processing. Event-driven architecture (EDA) and complex-event processing (CEP) provide early problem detection and predict future threats and opportunities before they materialize. They enable the situation awareness and sense-and-respond behavior that agile enterprises need to operate. This presentation will describe how and where event processing should be used.

Attend this keynote presentation to learn:
  • What makes event processing different from conventional application design and why is it catching on now?
  • How can mainstream companies realize the four benefits of event processing: improved accuracy in decision making, faster response to threats and opportunities, preventing "info glut" and reduced costs.
  • Where is event processing irrelevant?
