May 02, 2007Podcast interviews with SOA vendors
Over the past few weeks, we've been busy interviewing senior representatives from SOA vendors and publishing them as podcast episodes. To make the interviews as comparable (and therefore as useful) as possible we tried to restrict each conversation to 30 minutes, and we asked the same four questions in each interview:
- What are the customer scenarios where your stuff typically gets used?
- Where is it important that your technology "plays well" with customers' existing investments, and how do you ensure that?
- What challenges in the lifecycle of services do you typically get involved in addressing?
- What do you do to make sure that your SOA infrastructure is itself easy to deploy and manage?
Cape Clear (David Clarke, co-founder and EVP, Products)
BEA (Martin Percival, Senior Technical Evangelist, EMEA)
Microsoft (Kris Horrocks, Technical Product Manager, Connected Systems Division)
HP (Roman Stanek, Systinet co-founder)
TIBCO (Rob Myer, Product Marketing, SOA)
webMethods (Miko Matsumura, Product Marketing, SOA)
One last important point: these podcasts are not sponsored - we were not paid to do these.
