A-ha!

In case you didn't catch Brenda Michelsen's announcement here at ebizQ, she will be leaving the fold -- though we certainly hope she continues to contribute and participate in on our interactive discussions. It's been an honor to be part of a group that includes people of Brenda's caliber and intellect.

Brenda says she has reached an a-ha! moment in her career, and has something new in the works. (A book? A movie? A reality TV series?  Sounds like a book.)

Brenda is one the top thought leaders in the enterprise architecture space, and has been contributing mightily to advancing the profession through her writing, sessions, and involvement with groups such as the SOA Consortium. As she describes it, she is developing some answers to "the impedance mismatch of the tech industry's product-orientation with enterprises' capability-orientation."  Definitely a big-time mismatch.

A-ha moments sometimes happen when we least expect them, when intuition meets data and new innovation and thinking results. Or, they occur as a result of years of hard work and study. Either way, we know Brenda is moving on to great things, and will advance fresh new thinking in the industry.
