In today's rough-and-tumble economy, there's a tendency for executives and managers to panic, and cut everything in sight. However, a well-crafted enterprise architecture effort that incoporates SOA, ITIL, and other long-term visionary approaches is an asset that needs to be sustained, through good times and bad.
