Creating Enterprise Order Out of Web 2.0 Chaos

Vote 0 Votes

Web 2.0 means chaos -- a lot of chaos. Rob Koplowitz, analyst with Forrester Research, will be joining a cast of other E2.0 experts on July 23rd to talk about the challenge of leveraging Web 2.0 technology in enterprise settings.

Koplowitz's session will be part of ebizQ's Enterprise 2.0 virtual conference, which will be covering various aspects of Enterprise 2.0 opportunities and challenges. (Free registration required.)

David Mitchell Smith, VP & Gartner Fellow, will kick off the event with a discussion of how innovations in the consumer Web 2.0 space are translating into enterprise applications. He will also discuss what lies beyond Web 2.0 -- and it isn't Web 3.0.

The conference will feature a panel discussion on how the Web 2.0 and SOA fit together. Dan Woods (Evolved Media), Nathaniel Palmer (Workflow Management Coalition), and Puneet Gupta (Connectbeam) will debate about whether end users actually be able to create their own mashup applications, and how IT should control and manage this new breed of applications.

In this blog (formerly known as "SOA in Action"), Joe McKendrick examines how BPM and related business and IT approaches can promote business transformation.
