EbizQ colleague Brenda Michelson has just announced that the newly formed SOA Consortium is seeking enterprise architects to participate in an industry survey that seeks to help understand where EA is today, where it will be in the future, and what it would take to make the transition. That's a lot of good stuff we need to know more about.

Again, the survey can be found here.

Last week, I joined Dana Gardner's SOA BriefingsDirect podcast panel, which hosted special guest Richard Soley, chairman of Object Management Group, the moving force behind the SOA Consortium. Richard provided a lot of good insights into the philosophy and driving need behind the combined enterprise-vendor group, and how it will help move SOA forward in the months and years to come. I'll post details of the discussion when Dana makes it available over the next couple of weeks.
