Russell Rothstein has spent his career in the enterprise software industry at the crossroads between technology and business. He is currently vice president of product marketing at OpTier, which serves the growing market for business transaction management and the next generation of application performance management (APM). Previously, he was assistant vice president of product management at OPNET Technologies, co-founder and CEO of Zettapoint, a venture-backed enterprise software startup, and ran marketing for Open Sesame, a Web 1.0 startup acquired by Bowne. Russell began his career at Oracle, deploying Oracle Applications for Fortune 1000 companies. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Russell received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard, a master's in technology and policy from MIT and a master's in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
