A $3 Trillion Problem: 3 Best Practices for the Dirty Data Pandemic

Based on estimates and extrapolations taken from industry and government experts, I've estimated that dirty and duplicate data cost the U.S. economy in excess of $3 Trillion every year.

Dirty data is tolerated to a much greater extent than "buggy applications". The impact of bad data isn't as immediately noticable as a Payroll application that refuses to cut checks; yet the impact of dirty data directly and indirectly is staggering.

Dirty data is a problem which can never be resolved completely; yet there are some simple and inexpensive steps that every company can take to improve the situation tremendously - yet they typically fail to do so.

I've authored a "best practices" document entitled "$3 Trillion Problem: Three Best Practices for Today's Dirty Data Pandemic".

It is freely downloadable and no registration is required.
