IBM Agrees to Buy Sterling Commerce

The 1.4 billion dollar acquisition is one of IBM's largest deals in three years. AT&T's Sterling Commerce is a leader in integration solutions and business applications. The companies combined should promise improved integration capabilities while leaping ahead of their competitors.
