We recently ran a webinar with Connie Moore of Forrester Research on Smart Case Management and why this new bundle of tactics is really so smart. Smart Case Management is an emerging idea, but in general you can tell when case management is moving in that direction if it's marked by dynamic situational application of policies and process fragments for cases, case life cycles, case content, case subjects, and case event management.
Case management is quickly emerging as one of the critical application categories for BPM, particularly for knowledge workers. For this reason any "smart" enterprise should be interested in Smart Case Management.
