LogicBlaze Upgrades FUSE Open Source SOA

LogicBlaze made a big splash in late March with the release of their FUSE open source SOA runtime environment -- and they've just announced a new 1.2 version of FUSE that's designed tocompete even more strongly with commercial SOA solutions.

We talked to Rob Davies, Logic Blaze's vice president of product development, about FUSE's particular features and the evolving balance between open source and traditional SOA vendors.

"We want to compete in all the levels and have the same functionality that commercial vendors do," Davies said.

Davies also shared some interesting case studies that show considerable economies of scale for companies -- and detailed his company's customer support plans.

"We are seeing in the enterprise space, more and more companies are using open source solutions in mission-critical applications," he added.
