pawhms.jpgI am going to be speaking at a show in San Francisco in the spring called Predictive Analytics World. I am going to speak on From Predictive Analytics to Competing on Decisions on the first day. I will also be giving a one day workshop after the conference - Taking Action with Analytics: The Decision-Centric Enterprise.

The show is Feb 18-19, 2009 in San Francisco and details are at www.predictiveanalyticsworld.com. There are 25 sessions across two tracks, so you can witness how predictive analytics is applied at 3M, Acxiom, Affiliated Computer Services, Charles Schwab, Chase, Click Forensics, Google, Linden Lab (Second Life), The National Rifle Association, Netflix, Pinnacol Assurance, Reed Elsevier, San Diego Supercomputer Center, Sun, Wells Fargo Credit Card Services, Wells Fargo Internet Services Group, and others.

The focus is on solutions, taking you inside the "how" to achieve results - not just talking about the opportunity. Eric Seigel, Chair of the show, wrote a nice introductory article on how Predictive Analytics Delivers Value Across Business Applications that is well worth a read.

You can register for the conference here and if you use PAWSPEAK you can get a 10% discount.
