Articles on BI

Two great articles in DM Review today - this one on Toppling the BI Pyramid by my collaborator Neil Raden and another on The Information Fallacy by ben Danzing and Walter Callender. Both articles challenge you to think about the decisions you are trying to make, and how you might make them more effectively, not just on the reports or analysis you want. As Thomas Henry Huxley said:

"The great end of life is not knowledge, but action"

If your approach to BI and information is not resulting in different, better informed actions then what, exactly, is it for?
