Forrester Research's Business Process and Application Delivery Forum is shaping up to be a don't-miss event for the BPM community.
The event revolves around strategies for "delivering breakthrough business value" through BPM in an unpredictable economic recovery.
Mike Gualtieri, John Rymer and Dave West--and, of course, Clay Richardson--are among the Forrester analysts scheduled to deliver event keynotes. Top execs from IBM, Fidelity Investments and Medco Health Solutions will describe real-life agility initiatives and their results.
BPM-specific breakout sessions will focus on recovery-oriented business transformation, according to Forrester: "As the economy begins to move past the Great Recession, companies increasingly seek to put customers at the heart of their business processes" by:
--Emphasizing customer experience
--Implementing cross-functional business processes
--Linking those processes to the next generation of enterprise applications
--Building new process skills in the 21st century workforce
That's a big job, of course--and on ongoing one. "To make a long-lasting difference, business process professionals must learn how to scale and sustain these transformational initiatives, so that enterprises don't move back into the well-worn groove of siloed and inefficient processes," Forrester says.
BPM track speakers include Forrester analysts William Band, Paul Hamerman, Derek Miers, Connie Moore and Alexander Peters.
I'll be there. Will you? Let me know.
