Global 360 has announced a Customer Innovation Awards Program to recognize a slate of customers and partners that have achieved "business-changing benefits as a result of their Global 360 implementations."
Finalists and winners in each award category will be
"carefully selected by the Global 360 Customer Innovation Awards Judging Panel. The award-judging panel consists of neutral third parties that will review all submissions and select the finalists and winners. Entries will be judged on the extent to which a company has driven greater productivity for their people, processes, and/or business."
By the fact that I am posting this news up, you may have guessed that I am honored to be one of the neutral third-party judges.
I don't endorse one software product or service of any kind over another as a condition of what I do.
But I do endorse the idea of building up the bank of case studies that show how business process management (BPM) makes a difference in the real world. This ebizQ article from June 2008 cited some examples and I hope activities like Global 360's will expand the repetoire. No matter what suppliers you or looking at or which you eventually choose, it is important to go to your management with "BPM in the Real World" examples.
Global 360 users can find out more at the company's web site.
And may the best BPM user win!
