SQLstream, the Sequel: Real-Time Intelligence for Mozilla

You may recall that in February, I wrote about a company called SQLstream, and lauded its ability to deliver elements of real-time business intelligence. Well, if you'd like to see a real-life example from the comfort and convenience of your own browser (as long as it's Firefox or Safari, at least so far), head for http://downloadstats.mozilla.com and check out the map. It's showing real-time intelligence about downloads of today's new Firefox release, thanks to SQLstream technology.

Now, while you ponder what this might mean to your business intelligence (or IT infrastructure management or intellectual property management) efforts and initiatives, I'm going to go have another chat with the SQLstream team. More on this soon afterward. Stay tuned...

Michael, You have satisfied my curiosity with just enough information to tantalize and ensure that I must read through the links. Well I have and am very impressed as you said your readers would be. Real intelligence, knowledge management and data integration the solutions are there. I repeat as I have done many times in my professional life; the intelligence does begin with the capability and skills of the workforce. Without an intelligent, mature workplace that enjoys the productivity and is honest with it performance and development will regardless of the systems be successful in their chosen field. We must not lose sight of this. Despite this I do support evidence based intelligence as a means to monitor reflect and review our companies progress towards Effective Time Tracking its objectives and missions. Thank you again.
