Vote 0 Votes

Just wanted to let readers know that Thomas J. Olbrich, a forum and podcast regular here at at ebizQ, and head of taraneon Process TestLab, along with the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz, Germany, are conducting a global study into current best practices and the state of the art of process quality management.

The online survey is now live and will continue to run until the end of November.

Some of the issues the study is looking at include:
- What methods and approaches do companies use to ensure process quality?
- How is process quality management organized in companies?
- How is process quality valued?
- Is process quality linked to different BPM approaches?

All participants will receive a summary of the survey results, allowing them to benchmark their responses against the overall results. Those interested can simply click here!

I had a quick first look at some of the results we've collected until now (survey will run until Nov 22nd). Quite a few surprises. Want some teasers? Here we go:

- Nearly 50% of respondents change their business processes at least once a year, with an additional 35% saying they do so on an event driven basis

- 2% of respondents say that processes delivered by projects require no further work and were ready for operations

- 73% of respondents say Cloud has no impact on their process strategy while 90% say the same of Adaptive Case Management

- 33% of respondents use no formal models during business process design

Here’s your opportunity to benchmark your company against the overall results: Take the survey and once we’ve analysed all the data received we’ll supply you with a summary of the overall results and your individual input.
