A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to chat with Richard Soley, CEO of OMG. OMG is an international, open membership, not-for-profit computer industry consortium.
Soley told me all about OMG's new Business Ecology Iniative (BEI), which is "focused on erasing the artificial lines between business and Information Technology (IT)," so that IT can finally become a vital asset (see press release on ebizQ here).
